Phillips Center for the Performing Arts
The United States Navy Band “Sea Chanters” chorus is the official chorus of the United States Navy. The ensemble performs a variety of music ranging from traditional choral music, including the sea chantey, to Broadway musicals. Under the leadership of Chief Musician Georgina L. Todd, the Sea Chanters appear throughout the United States and often perform at the White House, the Vice President’s home and for other Washington dignitaries.

Spring Break Camp at the Eastside and Westside Recreation Center will begin on Monday, April 5
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - What are your kids doing while they are out of school for spring break? The City of Gainesville Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs will be holding its Annual Spring Break Camp. The program is designed to give kids something fun and enriching to do when school is out.
Camp is open to boys and girls age 6 through 13. The program will be held at Eastside Recreation Center and the Albert Ray Massey (Westside) Recreation Center. Dates for the camp include Monday, April 5 through Friday, April 9, 2010. The program will open its doors at 6:30 a.m. and all kids must be picked up by 6:30 p.m. Please note that lunch will not be provided.
The camp fees for the Eastside Center camp are $41 for city residents and $62 for non-city residents and the fees for the Westside Center camp are $61 for city residents and $91.25 for non-city residents. Space is limited, so be sure to register early! You can register at the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Administrative Office, which is located at 1024 NE 14 St., Bldg. A.

Historic Haile Homestead Tours
