Free ‘Matinee Mondays’ At The Library

Often, it’s books that draw folks to the library.
While your there, perhaps you’ll also want to enjoy a free movie screening.
The Alachua County Headquarters Library offers  “Matinee Mondays” at noon on Mondays.
The program is geared for adults ages 18 and older. The headquarters library is at 401 E. University Ave., Gainesville. For more information, phone, 352-334-3939.

The Hippodrome State Theatre is offering free admission for youngsters to a popular holiday production. Almost free.  
For many shows, the theater is admitting kids for free in exchange for a new unwrapped toy or a non-perishable food item.
The youngsters need to accompany an adult with a regular ticket.
