Thursday through Sunday (March 12-15): Watch 30 of Florida’s best plein air painters portray the beautiful, authentic 1800’s working farm in Newberry. The paintings — reflecting the farm’s gardens, fields and historic buildings — will then be sold wet off the easel. Painters will be on the farm from 9 to 5 each day. Free admission, and you can explore the surrounding park afterward or even have a picnic.

As part of Florida’s massive budget cuts, the state has placed Dudley Farm on the list of possible State Park closures. The more people that visit, the more likely the state is to keep the historic farm’s status. Read more about what you can do to save the farm.
